Electron impact ionization and electron attachment reactions for the hexamethyldisiloxane (HMDSO) molecule has been studied in gas phase using crossed electron/molecular beams apparatus. Appearance energies of particular positive ions have been estimated. Electron attachment reactions have been found very ineffective.
